This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or obtain an official booking record for you. Contact the office that created or holds the record.
Choose the Record Holder
For a Hickman County arrest or transport question, call Sheriff Benjamin Natividad at 270-653-2241. Fulton County Detention Center is commonly reported as the holding facility, but the current arrangement was not confirmed by a primary agreement. Its jailer, Steven Williams, can be reached at 270-236-2405, fax 270-236-9140, or steve@fultonkyjail.com. The office is at 2008 South Seventh Street, Hickman, KY 42050, in Fulton County, and lists public hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
For the court order behind a bond, probation, dismissal, sentence, or transfer, contact Circuit Court Clerk Melanie Dowdy at the Hickman County Courthouse Annex, 109 South Washington Street, Clinton, KY 42031. The clerk's lines are 270-653-3901 and 270-653-2026, with weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The right route depends on the record sought:
- Use the home page to trace a released person and request the release record.
- Check Post-Release Supervision for Kentucky parole or probation routes.
- Start with 24-Hour Releases for a recent local or state release.
- Use Release Date Lookup for a projection and VINE Inmate Check for an alert.
- Contact Fulton County Detention Center only after confirming it held the person.
- Search KOOL or KDOC records for a sentenced Kentucky offender.
- Use the federal BOP or ICE locator when that agency has custody.
Kentucky Corrections Records
State offender files belong with the Kentucky Department of Corrections, not the Hickman County Clerk. KDOC lists correctionsopenrecords@ky.gov and Department of Corrections, Division of Public Affairs, Attn: Open Records Coordinator, P.O. Box 2400, Frankfort, KY 40602. Its fax number is 502-564-9575. Include the person's full name and either a date of birth or offender ID. The agency explains a five-day response framework under KRS 197.025, subject to exemptions and record availability.
For a Parole Board final decision, the Justice Cabinet records custodian is a separate route: JusticeOpenRecords@ky.gov, 125 Holmes Street, Second Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601; phone 502-564-3279; fax 502-564-6686. Court records remain with the Hickman Circuit Court Clerk.
Supervision and VINE Contacts
Hickman County is assigned to KDOC Probation and Parole District 1. The main office is at 400 South Sixth Street, Paducah, KY 42003; phone 270-575-7235; fax 270-575-7018. The current state directory also lists Graves/Mayfield at 270-247-6061. Use KOOL first, then ask the district for the correct public-record or status-confirmation route. Staff may not release protected case-management details.
Kentucky VINE is available through VINELink or its automated line at 800-511-1670. TTY service is 866-847-1298. Kentucky Victim Services lists 502-564-5061 and 877-687-6818, with business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. VINE provides custody alerts, but the originating jail or KDOC record should confirm a release.
